About Dunn's Desert Landscaping

For a few weeks in March the hillsides above the valley go yellow with brittlebush and the ocotillo tips light red, and everyone remembers why they live out here. Dunn's Desert Landscaping works the Palm Desert streets below through that bloom and long past it — weekly mowing, sharp edges, trimming along the walks, feeding and weed control on a steady rhythm. Spring is when the bermuda wakes up and wants cutting twice as often, and keeping pace with it is most of the craft. There is pride in handing back a lawn even in color from fence to fence, no scalped high spots, no shaggy fringe. The wildflowers fade by May; a lawn is meant to hold all year.
