About Surfside Services

October is Pacifica's open secret: the fog stands offshore, Rockaway's headlands cut sharp against a rinsed blue sky, and every yard in town gets its one long stretch of perfect light. Surfside Services works to have the lawns ready for it — mowed clean, edged tight, beds weeded and mulched, hedges squared away. Through the grayer months the rhythm continues, because coastal grass doesn't stop growing just because the sun stays hidden. The measure of a good day is simple: walk away, look back, and see straight lines where there was shag. On clear evenings, when the light comes low off the water and lays itself across the grass, the whole street looks tended.
