Green Touch Gardens

About Green Touch Gardens

At dusk near Heritage Square the old Oxnard houses take on their warmest color and the bougainvillea along the fences goes nearly neon. Green Touch Gardens works the yards that frame houses like these, lawns cut even, edges drawn clean, borders kept so the planting reads as intentional. It is a light hand rather than a heavy one, enough trimming to hold shape and never so much that a garden looks shorn. Evenings on this coast are cool and the grass recovers well overnight, which makes an end-of-day visit a good one. What is left behind is a yard that looks composed from the sidewalk and comfortable from the porch.
