About Dan Mercado Landscaping

Orinda mornings often begin borrowed from the coast — fog spilling over the Berkeley hills, pooling in the wooded hollows, then thinning away to leave everything rinsed and bright. Dan Mercado Landscaping works into that clearing light, tending lawns tucked among the oaks and bay laurel along the town's winding lanes. The land here folds and drops, so a level, well-cut lawn is a kind of accomplishment the hills do not hand out for free. Mowing, edging, trimming, and cleanups follow the town's own calendar: green and growing through the winter rains, slow and golden by August. Each finished yard sits in its fold of hillside like it grew there on purpose.
