Rescue On Board

About Rescue On Board

Some yards get away from people — a summer of travel, a long illness, and suddenly the grass off Old Auburn Road is knee-high and the fence line has disappeared into it. Rescue On Board takes those on: overgrowth cut back, weeds cleared, brush and debris hauled out, the lawn brought down in stages and then held there. Midsummer is when the calls come, dry grass standing tall and everyone wanting it gone before the heat gets any worse. The best hour of the week is the last pass, when a lot that looked abandoned reads again as somebody's yard. After the rescue comes the upkeep — mowing, trimming, edging — so it never gets that far a second time.
