About OV Tree Care

Orangevale keeps its oak woodland right in the middle of the neighborhood — valley oaks over horse fence and driveway, blue oaks up the rise, the American River and Folsom Lake just past the ridge. OV Tree Care works those big-lot properties, pruning deadwood from oaks that were standing long before the lots were drawn and trimming limbs off barns, roofs and riding rings. The heat runs hard until the delta breeze arrives around dusk and the whole place exhales; the shade in between is worth protecting. Winter storms come down off the Sierra and put wood on the ground, and cleanup means the driveway first, the paddock next, the rest hauled out. Removal is for oaks that have finished their long lives, done with regard for everything left standing around them.
