Jim's Mowing (Orange West)

About Jim's Mowing (Orange West)

West Orange is the flat, generous half of the city — postwar blocks laid out in easy grids, driveways wide, front lawns squared off toward the street. Jim's Mowing (Orange West) works that grid one yard after another, Saturday mornings especially, when half the block is outside with a hose or a coffee. Mowing at an even height, edging tight to the concrete, trimming what the deck cannot reach, then blowing the walk clean — that is the whole round. Grass out here wants regular cutting more than anything clever. Straight lines across an open lawn are a simple pleasure, and they hold all week.
