About Eden Gardening Corporation

For a few weeks each late spring the jacarandas let go over Orange and the streets go violet, petals drifting across every lawn in the city. Eden Gardening Corporation is out in it with mowers and blowers, keeping grass crisp under all that color. The rest of the year the calendar is simpler: cut, edge, trim the borders, hold the bed lines sharp against the turf, carry the green waste away. Beds get weeded before the weeds get ideas. A garden here is a made thing, held in shape week by week, and that holding is the whole job.
