About Caliscapes OC

Santiago Creek threads through Orange as a green seam — sycamores, cottonwoods, a bed that runs after a storm and bakes pale by August. Caliscapes OC keeps lawns in the neighborhoods on either side of it, where the soil turns hard in the dry months and grass asks for a careful hand. Late-summer cutting is slow, patient work: a height that shades its own roots, an edge held true along the drive, a blower run that leaves the gutter bare. Weeds get pulled out of the bed lines before they can seed into the turf. It is ordinary work done carefully, on streets where a green yard in September is a small act of stubbornness.
