About Macias Gardening & Design

Late May turns Ontario's older streets purple, jacaranda blossom drifting down over sidewalks and parked cars, and the mowers come through right behind it. Macias Gardening & Design reads a yard the way you'd read a plan: where the eye lands, where a bed wants a border, which hedge is doing the work of a wall. Mowing and edging carry the week, but the shaping — trimming, bed definition, keeping weeds out of the gravel and the groundcover — is what makes a yard read as composed rather than merely cut. The light out here is flat and bright most of the year, so form matters; a straight edge and a level hedge line hold up under that sun. The finish is a front yard with intention in it, plain to see from the curb.
