About Joe Landscape

In July the work in Ontario has to happen early — by eleven the pavement throws the heat back up and the grass would rather be left alone. Joe Landscape starts at the cool end of the morning: mowing at a height that lets the turf shade its own roots, edging the walk, trimming the fence line, clearing every clipping off the concrete. Heat is the real weather in this valley, and a lawn cut correctly holds its color right through it. Driving back down a street you finished at sunrise, seeing those yards sitting even and green under a hard sun, is the whole reward. Come October the hours shift, but the standard does not.
