Lawn Fades

About Lawn Fades

Friday evening, and the block wants to look good for the weekend — the mowers quit, the hoses come out, and the smell of cut grass hangs over the street. Lawn Fades works to that standard: mowing in even stripes, edging so the turf stops exactly where the concrete starts, trimming the corners a mower cannot reach, and clearing the clippings away. Ontario's flat lots and bright sun show every line you leave in a lawn, which is either a problem or the point. Here it is the point — a yard with shape to it, sharp at the borders and level across the middle. Two days of weekend, and the grass still holds the pattern.
