A&G Garden services

About A&G Garden services

Euclid Avenue splits Ontario down the middle, a boulevard wide enough to carry a green spine of grass and old pepper trees between the lanes. A&G Garden services works the streets that branch off it, where front lawns are small, square and looked at every single day by whoever lives behind the screen door. Mowing, edging, string trimming, weeding and hauling the clippings away — that is the whole job, done in a morning, done the same way each time. What they are after is the border: the tidy cut along the walk that makes a modest yard read as cared for from the sidewalk. In a city that laid out its grandest street as a garden, keeping your own strip green is simply how you join in.
