The Feather River slides past Olivehurst behind its levees, cottonwoods leaning over the water, and on foggy winter mornings the whole town seems to float. Olvera's Lawncare works the neighborhoods inside that levee country — mowing through the long hot season, edging drives and walks, clearing leaves when the cottonwoods and mulberries let go all at once. The valley calendar is vivid here: green rush in March, brown heat by July, gray tule stillness in December, and a lawn needs a different kind of attention in each.
