About SR Gardening Service

The first real rain usually reaches the west end sometime in late fall, sweeping in along Highway 150 where the olive rows run toward Carpinteria, and overnight the dust goes out of the air. SR Gardening Service reads the year by turns like that one, easing the mowing and trimming back through the dry stretch, then picking the pace up as the lawns come alive again. Edges are cut clean along the walk and the drive, the fence line is trimmed, the cuttings and debris are taken away, the concrete swept down. It is unhurried gardening work, done on a rotation the yard can settle into. Ojai gives a lawn a long season, and the idea is to be there for all of it.
