Blue Heron Lanscape

About Blue Heron Lanscape

In January the water at Lake Casitas goes the color of pewter, and a heron will hold still in the shallows long enough to make you doubt it is alive. Blue Heron Lanscape brings that same patience to a lawn: mowing at an even height, cutting a clean edge along paths and driveways, trimming close to fence lines and bed borders, then clearing every cutting before the truck pulls away. Winter rain pushes Ojai grass hard and fast; the dry months ask for the opposite, a lighter cut and a closer eye. Both get handled on a schedule set to the season rather than to convenience. The result is simple and quietly satisfying, a lawn that looks calm, which is harder than it sounds.
