About B & M Gardening and Tree Services

Work starts early in Oildale in July, before the heat sets its full weight on the valley, while the cottonwoods along the Kern River still smell like green water. B & M Gardening and Tree Services makes those first hours count, pruning and trimming the mulberries, ashes and shade trees that keep a north-of-the-river yard livable through a 105-degree afternoon. Shade is not decoration here; it is how a house gets through August, so a crown gets shaped to cast it rather than stripped bare. When wind or a river storm puts a limb on a fence, cleanup is same-day work — the limb sectioned, the wood loaded, the fence line clear before noon. A tree that has died in the heat is taken out entirely, the ground left clean, and the yard goes on.
