About Ramos Tree Services

The marine layer slides in over Batiquitos Lagoon before sunrise and hangs in the eucalyptus windrows until the sun finally burns a hole through it. Ramos Tree Services works Carlsbad in that grey hour and long after it, taking down the trees that have gone hollow on the lots above the water and shaping the pines and pepper trees that have leaned seaward since before the flower fields first colored the hill. Salt air and the dry offshore wind that arrives every October are hard on old limbs, and a pruning cut here is placed to answer the wind, not just to shorten a branch. When a blow leaves a crown across a driveway, the cleanup runs until the drive is open to the street again and the gravel is clear. Carlsbad is a town that lives outdoors, and its trees deserve that same attention.
