About Diego’s Landscaping

Evening at Libby Lake: the water flat, a line of fan palms black against a sky still holding its orange, someone's radio drifting from the parking lot. Diego's Landscaping works the streets nearby, cutting and edging, trimming hedges into square shoulders, carrying the green waste off at the end of the day. Oceanside asks a great deal of a lawn in July and almost nothing of it in January, and the trick is a schedule that respects both. Weeds come out, palm skirts get cut back, beds get cleared, sprinkler heads get straightened where the mower found them. There is pride in a small front yard done properly — it is the first thing a house says out loud.
