About William Landscaper Garden Services

Up where Oakland tilts toward Skyline, the first real rains of November turn the grass a green the dry months never allow, and William Landscaper Garden Services meets that green with a sharpened blade. These are hillside lots, redwood shade on one flank and full afternoon sun on the other, and they do not grow at one speed. Mowing, edging, string trimming, steady lawn upkeep: tighter through the wet months, patient through the gold ones, always cut with the grade rather than against it. There is a real satisfaction in a slope mowed evenly, in trimmer work that finds the line where lawn meets fence and holds it all the way to the gate. By the time the next band of weather comes over the ridge above Joaquin Miller, the clippings are cleared and the lawn is standing ready for it.
