About Paradise Lawn Gallery

Late afternoon in Redwood Heights, the sun comes sideways through the pines above Joaquin Miller Park and lays long shadows across the front lawns. Paradise Lawn Gallery works with that light in mind — mowing in even passes so the stripes read from the street, edging the walk, trimming the hedge line square. Sloped lots up here need aerating once the winter rains have packed the soil, and overseeding wherever shade and foot traffic have thinned the turf. Needles and leaves come down for months and get cleared out before they smother anything underneath. A lawn finished at that hour, cut clean with the hills glowing behind it, is worth stopping on the sidewalk to look at.
