About Eleazar's Landscape and Maintenance

On a June morning in Glenview the fog lies low over Park Boulevard until about ten, then lifts all at once and the hillside turns bright. Eleazar's Landscape and Maintenance is usually well into the day by then — mowing the terraced yards along the ridge streets, edging stone steps, trimming hedges that want to swallow a handrail. Maintenance here means arriving on the same day every time so nothing gets ahead of anybody: grass cut, weeds pulled, beds mulched, green waste loaded and gone. The lots step down in stages toward the flats, which means carrying tools up and back more than once to finish one yard. Worth it for the view from the top step, everything below cut clean and the bay opening out past it.
