About Zorro Landscaping Inc.

Downey's rain arrives in a handful of December and January storms, and afterward the whole basin smells rinsed and the San Gabriel River channel runs loud for a day or two. That is when lawns want tending most and usually get it least — growth after every soaking, weeds coming up eager along the fence line. Zorro Landscaping Inc. keeps a mower moving through it, cutting when the ground allows and running the edger back wherever the wet has blurred the border, then hauling off the trimmings so the grass enters spring already ahead. Even in the cool months, when Bermuda turns tan and the overseed comes in bright, a Downey yard can hold its shape. Homes and businesses from the 605 side across to Old River School Road stay on the route.
