About Paul Formica

Midday on Alondra Boulevard, the 605 hums somewhere past the rooftops and the only honest shade on the block is under an old pepper tree. Paul Formica works Norwalk yards through that flat noon light — mowing, edging, trimming back overgrowth, clearing the beds, taking the green waste away. Grass here is asked to do a lot: full sun, long dry seasons, foot traffic straight across the front. Cut properly and kept fed, it holds up, and the yard reads calm even in the middle of a hot afternoon. That result is the entire reason for the trip out.
