The Garden Guys

About The Garden Guys

Around six on a summer evening, the Delta breeze finds its way up to Antelope and the whole town steps outside — and that is the hour a yard is really for. The Garden Guys spend their days getting lawns and gardens ready for it: turf mowed and edged, beds weeded and shaped, hedges brought back to clean lines, roses and borders given the close attention a mower can't. The work runs through the seasons the valley deals out, from the green rush of spring to the amber heat of August. A garden here is a shaded chair, a hose coiled neat, a lawn worth walking barefoot. Making that scene possible, street after street, is the whole job.
