About SmartGrass

Rosecrans Avenue is where Manhattan Beach hands off to El Segundo, and the ground along that seam is all wide frontage, low buildings, and grass that has to look sharp from a car doing forty. SmartGrass keeps those strips reading clean: mowed to a uniform height, edged in a straight run along the curb, trimmed tight around signposts and light bases. The haze sits in early most mornings and lifts by mid-morning into a flat bright sun, and the work is usually well underway before it does. Beds get weeded, hedges get squared, sprinklers get checked for the one head throwing water onto the asphalt. Commercial frontage done right is invisible — it just looks like nothing is wrong.
