About Mark Talmo Landscape

For a few weeks in May the jacarandas above Dover Shores drop purple all over the grass, and a lawn can go from tidy to littered between one visit and the next. Mark Talmo Landscape works that stretch closely: blow the blossoms clear, mow, edge, and let the turf show its own color again. Down toward Castaways, where the ground tilts to the bay and the wind comes up in the afternoon, the trimming has to be done low and careful along the slope. Feeding and weed control keep the stand thick enough that nothing volunteers in the gaps. It is a good season to be outside in Newport Beach, and a better one to leave a yard finished behind you.
