Brite Turf

About Brite Turf

On Balboa Island the yards are small enough to measure in steps, which means every single blade shows. Brite Turf mows those pocket lawns with the ferry rumbling across the channel a block away, then edges each border until the grass stops exactly where the pavers begin. Feeding a lawn here is a matter of a little and often, because salt air and sandy ground ask for a lighter hand than the inland tracts do. Weeds get pulled and treated before they can seed into the seams, hedges get shaped, and the trimmings leave in the truck rather than down the alley. Small lawns, tended closely, hold their color all the way through a Newport Beach summer.
