About Newman Landscapes

There are a few weeks each spring when rain wakes Orestimba Creek and the hills west of town turn an improbable, glowing green — the valley's brief reminder of what water can do. Newman Landscapes works to keep a little of that green in town all year. The service is lawn care in its full sense: mowing on a steady schedule, edging and trimming, weed control, and the seasonal cleanups that keep a yard from ever looking neglected. When the hills fade back to straw in May, a kept lawn on a Newman street becomes something worth slowing down for. That contrast is the reward of the work.
