Lodi Tree Service

About Lodi Tree Service

Harvest in Lodi carries a smell you can find two blocks from any vineyard road — crushed fruit and dust and the first cool air coming up off the Mokelumne. Lodi Tree Service works the town's shaded streets and the ranch places past them, where valley oaks, walnuts and big sycamores make the summer bearable. Pruning is the winter craft here, done while the wood is bare and every cut can be read; trimming through the year keeps limbs off roofs and out of the way of a truck backing in. Removal on a tight town lot is planned before the first cut and taken in sections rather than dropped. When a storm strips a canopy, storm damage cleanup leaves the yard swept, the wood gone, and the street looking like a Lodi morning again.
