About Memo Ruiz Gardening Services

An egret lifting off the marsh at Newark's western edge is a June sort of picture — slow wings, hard bright light, the bay somewhere behind it. Memo Ruiz Gardening Services spends that season in the gardens a few streets inland: weeding beds, shaping hedges, mowing and edging lawns so the planting around them has a frame to sit in. Dry months reward attention more than exertion, and a bed kept clear stays clear with a short visit instead of a rescue. There is real satisfaction in the last step, blowing the path clean and watching the whole garden come forward at once. Then the rains arrive, the growth changes, and the visits change with it.
