About Ayon Landscaping

A wind arrives in Newark most afternoons, coming off the bay and running east until the tawny shoulders of the Coyote Hills catch it. Ayon Landscaping schedules around that hour — heavy mowing early, then trimming and bed work while the air is loud and cool. Hedges are kept square, borders defined, and the strip of turf between sidewalk and street cut with the same attention as the yard behind it. In a town this flat, the lawn is the first thing a street reads, and a straight stripe carries a long way. Once the rains begin, leaves and storm litter come off the grass and the beds get turned over for whatever the owner wants next.
