About Tony's Landscaping and tree services

In February the valley oaks stand bare over Napa's older streets and every branch is easy to read, which is exactly why that is the month for a ladder and a sharp saw. Tony's Landscaping and tree services prunes and thins the trees, takes down the limbs that hang too low over a roof or a driveway, and keeps the lawn underneath mowed, trimmed and cleared of everything that comes down. A tree opened up correctly lets light back onto grass that spent all winter in shadow, and by April the difference is plain to anyone walking past. There is craft in both halves of the job — the cut you make forty feet up and the edge you leave along the walk. The place ends up looking taller and tidier at the same time.
