About Stone & Soil Landscaping Co.

Along the east side of the valley, where the roads bend under the Vaca range and the ground runs to rock as often as loam, a yard gets built from the dirt up. Stone & Soil Landscaping Co. works at that level — beds turned and mulched, borders set, lawns mowed and edged to a clean line against them. Midwinter is the green season here: the hills soak up the rain and glow, and the work turns to shaping, clearing and building while the grass takes its time. Then the dry months come and the same beds hold their moisture, because somebody put them together properly. Napa repays that kind of patience, and the finished yard shows it all the way from the street.
