About Valley Tree Care Service, Inc.

When an atmospheric river parks over the Peninsula, Mountain View's ground turns to pudding and the wind off the bay finds every tree that was carrying too much sail. Valley Tree Care Service, Inc. spends those weeks removing leaners, clearing limbs from driveways and fence lines, and hauling wet debris out before it kills a lawn. The rest of the year is the slower craft — pruning for structure, reducing the sail a crown carries, lifting canopies off rooflines and sidewalks. Out toward the Shoreline marsh the breeze is a constant, and a tree there is judged less on beauty than on how it stands up to a steady shove. Mountain View and the neighboring Peninsula cities are where the trucks go.
