About Rivera Gardening Services

Morning comes to Morgan Hill from the east, over the Diablo Range, and El Toro stands up out of the last of the ground fog like something remembered. Rivera Gardening Services is out in that hour, cutting lawns while the grass still holds the night's damp and the streets are quiet enough to hear the blades. The work is mowing and edging, string trimming along fence lines and walkways, feeding turf and pulling the weeds out of it, then hauling the clippings off so nothing is left behind but a clean line. In a valley that browns off from June until the first rain, a green yard is a decision somebody made and somebody keeps. They keep it, week after week, block after block, from Paradise Valley down toward San Martin.
