About Valdez Landscaping & Tree Services

Up toward Pigeon Pass the road narrows and old pepper trees lean in over it, dropping their small red berries onto the shoulder every spring. Trees give this end of Moreno Valley its shade and its character, and they need a hand to keep both. Valdez Landscaping & Tree Services works the ground and the canopy together — mowing and edging the lawn, trimming shrubs, thinning and shaping trees, then clearing the cuttings out so the yard reads open again. Standing back after a limb comes down and seeing light land on grass that had been in shadow for years is one of the better moments in this line of work. A yard finished top to bottom holds its shape a long while.
