Wild Land Workshop

About Wild Land Workshop

In spring the hills toward Toro go emerald for a few short weeks, then begin their long turn to gold. Wild Land Workshop cuts, edges and trims lawns around Monterey, keeping tended grass crisp against country that would rather be wild. That tension is the fun of it — a mown yard reads best when the ridges behind it are doing their own thing. Cutting follows the rhythm the season sets, with clippings cleared and borders defined at every visit. A lawn kept sharp in this landscape looks deliberate, which is exactly what it is.
