Daniel's Landscaping Service

About Daniel's Landscaping Service

Above Cannery Row the streets stack up the hill in short, steep runs, and the yards along them are small, bright and stubborn. Daniel's Landscaping Service handles lawn care on those slopes — mowing across the grade, edging the concrete lip, cutting back whatever leans into the walk. Evening is a good hour up there: the wind drops, the bay turns pewter, and the last pass of the day shows every line. Grass on the peninsula grows slow and steady rather than in bursts, which rewards a crew that keeps to its schedule. Seen from the sidewalk below, a trimmed hillside yard is a small piece of order on a crowded hill.
