About Hernandez Lawn Care and Gardening Services

For a couple of weeks each June the jacarandas let go over Monterey Park and the front lawns near Elder Park go purple, a color no one plants and everyone waits for. Hernandez Lawn Care and Gardening Services rakes it up, mows underneath, then runs the edge back along the drive so the grass ends in a line instead of a blur. The gardening half of the work is the year-round half: weeding beds, shaping the shrubs, keeping the borders from creeping out into the turf. Then the hot months settle in, the cut goes higher, and the yards hold their green with less fuss than people expect. Small lots, tended closely — that is the whole trade here.
