About Primary Landscape Inc

November is when the liquidambars finally turn, and for a few weeks the cul-de-sacs of Montclair go red and orange overhead and then, all at once, underfoot. Primary Landscape Inc handles the turnover — raking and blowing leaves off the turf, mowing while there is still growth in the grass, cutting a clean edge at the walk, and carrying the whole pile away instead of leaving it at the curb. Left to sit, wet leaves smother a lawn straight through to spring; cleared off, the grass keeps its color deep into the cool months. It is a season of hauling, and it pays off in March. A raked lawn under bare branches has its own kind of order.
