Fresh Squeezed Lawns

About Fresh Squeezed Lawns

January in Modesto is backyard citrus weather — oranges hanging heavy, the sun low and thin, the grass slowed almost to a stop but still holding its color. Fresh Squeezed Lawns works that quiet stretch as carefully as the busy one: a winter mowing interval, edges kept sharp, leaves cleared out of the beds, shrubs cut back, weeds taken while they are still small. Handle the cold months properly and the first warm week arrives to a lawn that is already ready for it. That head start is the whole trick in a valley where spring shows up without much warning. Modesto, Ceres, Salida, Riverbank and Empire fill out the map.
