The Verde Landscape

About The Verde Landscape

Spring off the lake comes with a little wind, and the water pushes it uphill through the neighborhoods that look down on it. The Verde Landscape works those blocks — mowing, edging, hedge and shrub trimming, bed cleanups, seasonal cutbacks, and the green waste out with the truck. Verde is simply the color, and the color is the whole job: getting it, evening it out, and holding onto it through a long dry summer. Mission Viejo yards are compact and looked at closely, so the small moves carry — a border that follows the curve of the walk, a ring of grass under a tree that has not given up.
