About JJK Tree Trimming, Inc.

Mission Hills keeps an old grove of olives on the mission grounds, gnarled and silver-leaved, and the neighborhood around it grew up under its own planting of pines, carobs, sycamores and citrus. JJK Tree Trimming, Inc. works those streets on the Valley's north edge, trimming crowns that have pushed into the eaves and the wires, pruning back growth that has closed off a walkway or a window, removing a tree that has outgrown a small front yard. Late summer holds heat here well into the night, and the first real rain of the season arrives as both a relief and a test, with the storm damage cleanup afterward being limbs off the drive and wood off the grass. Every cut is placed so the tree keeps a shape it can hold, rather than shooting back twice as thick. There is pride in a street where the trees look composed and the sidewalks are clear.
