Yardscapes

About Yardscapes

September evenings in Milpitas are the best of the year — the heat lets go around seven, the crickets start up, and the backyard becomes the biggest room in the house. Yardscapes tends that room: lawns mowed and edged, hedges trimmed to a line, beds cleared and shaped, the clippings gone before dark. A back lot can be a chore or a place to sit, and the difference is mostly upkeep. Between the foothills and the flats there are thousands of these small squares of green, each one somebody's entire outdoors. Keeping one right is worth doing carefully.
