About Warren Design

By late summer the hills above Edgewood Avenue have gone gold, and a kept lawn reads against them like a held note. Warren Design treats grass as a shape first: where it should stop, how wide a border ought to sit, which line the eye follows from the gate to the front door. Mowing sets the surface, edging sets the outline, trimming reaches what the machine cannot, and a last sweep makes the whole thing sit still. Late-day visits, just before an evening out on the deck, are their own reward — the air cooling, the edges crisp, nothing left to fuss with. Proportion is the craft, and the lawn is where it shows.
