GL ARBORGARD

About GL ARBORGARD

By October the slopes above Sharon Heights have gone the color of straw, and the lawns below them are about the only green left on the hill. GL ARBORGARD keeps them that way through the tail of the dry season — mowing at a height that shades its own roots, edging the curves of a walk clean, trimming close around trunks and posts without scarring anything, hauling the cuttings off. There's a dry wind that comes down those slopes in the afternoon and scatters whatever isn't picked up, so the blow-down happens last and thorough. Then the first real rain arrives, the hill flips green in a week, and the mowing schedule tightens again. Lawn care on the west side of Menlo Park, and out toward the hill towns.
