Yard Smart by Ruiz

About Yard Smart by Ruiz

Late on a Saturday the sun drops behind the Elsinore ridge and Menifee turns gold for about twenty minutes — the water at Menifee Lakes goes flat, and every cut lawn along Newport Road shows its stripes. Yard Smart by Ruiz works toward that hour: grass mowed to an even height, edges run along the concrete, hedges squared, weeds taken out of the gravel and the beds. Yard cleanups clear whatever a windy spring drags in, and the green waste leaves with the truck rather than sitting by the side gate. It is a straightforward kind of lawn care — show up, do the whole yard, blow the driveway clean on the way out. In Menifee, Sun City, Winchester and Homeland, that is what a good yard is made of, week after week.
