About True Tree Service LLC

Summer mornings in McKinleyville come in on fog, thick along the Hammond Trail bluffs and over Clam Beach until the afternoon opens a blue window above the ocean. True Tree Service LLC works in that damp cool air, pruning spruce and cypress that take the salt wind straight off the water, trimming alder and fir back from the eaves and the gutters, removing a tree that has begun to fail where nobody wants it to land. In this soil trees put on height quickly, which is a gift until it isn't, and a thinned crown with a lifted skirt keeps a yard usable and a roof clear. When the winter systems roll through, storm damage cleanup is limbs pulled off the fence line, the driveway reopened and the wood taken away. Between the river bottom and the bluff this town is made of trees, and looking after them is steady, satisfying work.
