About McCue-Green Lawn & Garden

The first real rain of the year usually comes down the coast from Trinidad Head as a gray line you can watch approach for twenty minutes before it lands on the roof. McCue-Green Lawn & Garden works both sides of that line — mowing and edging while the ground is still firm, then hedge and shrub trimming, bed weeding, planting and the autumn cleanup that clears the drop away before it turns to mush. A garden on this coast asks for hands more than machines: something is always ready to be cut back, and something else is always ready to go in. The pay-off shows up in the flat gray of December, in a yard still holding its shape, not only in the two bright weeks of August. Work runs through McKinleyville and up the coast toward Westhaven and Trinidad.
